2023Livestream performance, chest harness, GoPro, 4 channel soundtrackLey wears a GoPro chest harness while moving alone in a remote dance studio. The livestream video and audio is projected in the gallery space. (Caretaker) re-thinks the performing body’s agency, access and denial. The viewer inhabits a disorienting first-person perspective of limbs, a bare rehearsal space, and occasionally captures glimpses of their image in the mirror.
