2017 Hypnotherapy session, recorded audio, lighting designPart of Better Self at Zacheta National Gallery, Warsaw, Poland, curated by Magdalena Kormornicka. Sessions were every hour; no late entry was permitted and participants agreed to remain in the room until each session terminated.
I developed a script for a hypnotherapy session with the professional consultation of psychotherapist and licensed hypnotherapist, Anna Grochowska. The session is motivated by the question of whether it is possible to have an original thought stemming from a frustration of being constantly sucked into a consumption trap of recycled material. Participants are guided on a subconscious level to imagine new imagery, sounds, concepts, and emotions.
