2015PerformanceA group of actors seated on freestanding bleachers, perform in unison a 15 minute score of stock audience reactions as an autonomous unit.In the press release, I compare the phenomenon of animal echolocation to the feedback loops of social media - “It’s how quickly it bounces back that tells us where we are in relation to our surroundings, determines our place and relevance. It’s what it bounces off of, the quality of this reflecting surface, its proximity and desirability, that tells us how.”
